Checklist literature study and compilation of bracketed keys for indigenous fishes Tarim River basin

Abstract:

Based on the checklist reference, fifteen indigenous fishes in Tarim River basin were summarized. We found that 9 species belonged to 5 genera in Schizothorace subfamily and 6 species belonged to 1 genus in Nemachiline subfamily. By referring to literature and observing fish specimen, we also compiled bracketed keys for the indigenous fishes in this area which would be helpful for field surveys and identification in future.
